Why I am passionate about all things self-worth

Hello Worthy one!

Welcome to your space, my space and our space.

You are probably looking for ways or tips to improve your self-worth, or figure out how to love and accept yourself exactly as you are or even searching how to get through a life transition and still having some confidence and a sense of self-worth.

If any of these apply then you found the right source. See, I have been in all of the above situations and so this blog is meant to serve as a journal for these experiences and how I have specifically worked through them.

Who am I and why should you be interested in my story

I am a child of two very diverse cultures read more here so trying to navigate different identities at different stages in my life, saw me losing my sense of self and identity. Most of the time I was pleasing people to fit in or struggling with the changes going on. I realised that most of these experiences were based on me not valuing and loving myself enough.

The turning point

This had been an ongoing experience in my life but I hit rock bottom when the partner I thought I was going to build a family and home with just took a job in a different country and left without much of a discussion. I felt lost, disappointed and disrespected and yes I was at the crossroads of another transition in my life.

How could I not see this and how can I get through this were the questions I asked. I needed help to work through this to understand the partners so I sought the help of a coach who through unravelling helped me realise all of these experiences were based on my lack of SELF WORTH.

Being Transparent to Serve My Readers

When I started looking for help online I found a lot of information but not many actually shared personal examples I could relate to. Nor could I find much information on how I could handle the challenges of nurturing and maintaining my self-worth in the transitions.

That brought me to writing down a lot of the information and how I personally have been able to use it. Most of my articles will share my own experiences and others might not directly but yet still I hope the information I share will be of help to anyone who comes across them.

My aim is that whenever you come across an article on this page you will find some value that will make your visit worth it. Please feel free to drop me a comment or share the articles/page with dear ones who will also enjoy or benefit from the information on here.

I was hanging on every word. Who you have become absolutely shines through your writing. When you changed the metaphor from that of an onion to that of an artichoke with a glowing heart, I almost started to cry. So beautiful. I hope you write on this website for years to come; I will be reading often.
